Results: Fremont Park, July 14
It was a strange day. Hot and a little muggy. Just one day after Friday
the 13th and the day before France beat Croatia in the World Cup.
The Giants were playing the A's and we were tee'ng off 8 people at
the same time. This was only the second time we tried such big
groups but everyone seemed to enjoy the heads-to-heads
competition. Each group pitted against another in match play.
Scramble, three drives each. Half the field won match prizes and
others, hopefully, found good luck in the raffle. Also, Greg Burke's
streak of consectutive home events with a hole-in-one was snapped.
